Join us on the last Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for this NJSL Multicultural Award-Winning series. We will continue to discuss and explore issues of race, gender, class, and culture. Past programs have included the topics of Race in Advertising, Raising Children Without Prejudice, and Race in Education, to name a few.
This month, we will have a panel of guests discussing Environmental Racism with Greg Gorman and Jermaine Spence from the New Jersey Sierra Club, and Junior Romero, Central Jersey Organizer for Food & Water Watch. The panel will be moderated by Roy Meyer of the Red Bank Environmental Commission.
An open and honest dialogue is encouraged which generates enlightening and informative exchanges. This program is free and open to the public. Registration is requested but not required. Please come and join the conversation!
