U.S. Citizenship Preparation Classes

This program is being offered by the Literacy Volunteers of Monmouth County.

It is recommended for Permanent Residents (green card status). Students should have English speaking, reading and writing skills. Classes are led by native-born Americans and will focus on preparing you to take the U.S. Citizenship test and practice for the interview along with dictation, writing, the Naturalization Process, U.S. History, Civics, and N-400 Application Content.

There is a cost of $25 for books and materials, but participants may take the course as many times as needed to prepare for the test. This is a family-friendly program, and activities will be provided for children 8 and older during class time. Younger children must have a caretaker or older sibling present.
